Study of sorts

Tried out NekoPaint, quite nice little program... if a little buggy.

The latest issue of cereal:geek is out now, I did some illustrations for it, check them out as well as articles from your favorite 80's cartoons with cool art from very talented artists!

Went for a looser painting style, used SAI and Painter 6.1 again.

Didn't really start with any idea, I just let the work do the uhh... work. I used SAI and Painter 6.1 both with custom brushes and textures.

Thor

A warm-up sketch of Thor, I couldn't bother looking for refs of the costume so I didn't draw it. The inking was done on an old version of Flash MX, the brush tool is amazing, the end result is very close to an actual Hunt 102 nib, very good brush too bad the program is absolute bonkers, full of quirks and with an awful workflow.

Aquarius *test*

This started as a little experiment that went a little too far, if you click on the thumbnail it will show the actual fullsize image, I hope I can do a real version of this illustration someday... but for now this is it. Done after watching a clip of Andrew Jones demo'ing his technique, quite interesting.
